Our facilities
Our spacious club grounds at Hermann-Löns-Straße 25 offer a wide range of sports and leisure facilities for members and guests – from football pitches and sports halls to a track-and-field stadium, tennis courts and bowling lanes.
Sports halls 1 & 2
Hall 1 is on the first floor of the clubhouse building. Hall 2 is accessed through the club office entrance in the basement. Both halls are used for indoor sports training and competition.
Barbarossahalle
The Barbarossahalle is located directly behind the club office and provides space for larger sports groups and club events.
Natural grass pitches
Three natural grass football pitches located in the outdoor area, accessible via the car park through the rear gate.
Artificial turf pitch & hockey field
Our all-weather artificial turf pitch is available year-round for training and matches. The hockey field with its storage hut is also located on the outdoor grounds.
Athletics stadium & running track
The stadium with running track and jumping pits is ideal for athletics training, competitions and endurance sports.
Tennis courts
Four tennis courts on the club grounds – for training and match play of our tennis section.
Bowling lanes
Eight bowling lanes on the ground floor of the clubhouse building – perfect for practice sessions and social evenings.
Directions
By car
Via the A6 motorway (Mannheim–Saarbrücken): take exit 16a at the Kaiserslautern interchange (direction Centrum). Via the A63 (Mainz–Kaiserslautern): take exit 15 at the Kaiserslautern interchange (direction Centrum). From any of these exits, follow signs towards the city centre, university or Barbarossahalle.
By bus
From Kaiserslautern main station / city centre, take bus line 105 or 107 to the stop:
- Line 105 towards K.-Schumacher-Straße
- Line 107 towards Lämmchesberg / Kurpfalzstraße
Stop: Buchenloch
Parking
Ample parking directly at the grounds. The outdoor pitches are accessed via the car park through the rear gate.
