Lacrosse

About the department
Lacrosse is a team sport that originated with the indigenous peoples of North America. It is played with a stick that has a net at the end and a small rubber ball; the aim is to throw the ball into the opposing goal. Lacrosse is very fast and physical and demands endurance, agility and teamwork.
We are currently building up our youth section and travel to major match days once a month. Our women's team — the Ladyjacks — plays field lacrosse (10 vs 10) in a joint team with Mainz & Marburg Lacrosse, as well as Sixes lacrosse as a standalone team. Our men's team — the Lumberjacks — competes as a standalone team in both the field and Sixes formats. You can join training at any time. Contact: lacrosse@tsg1861kl.de
