Wintersport

About the department
Welcome to the winter-sports department of TSG Kaiserslautern! For many years a group of ski-loving winter-sports enthusiasts has come together at the TSG to add another facet to the club's programme – winter sport.
Our sport is seasonal: there is no regular weekly training, and our main activity shifts to the "fourth season". We make good use of the summer nonetheless – many of us stay fit on the bike and thereby lay the foundation for the next season, while equipment is serviced and put in order. At regular meetings we plan our winter trips, set dates and locations, and always aim for good value for money.
In our DSV ski school only qualified and certified instructors are deployed. The ski team is made up of experienced winter-sports people, including a DSV instructor (Übungsleiter), DSV instructors and DSV ski teachers – ensuring high quality on every trip. Working as a team matters to us: experience is shared, and the youngsters benefit from the old hands.
Each season we offer several trips, each with its own trip leader: the indoor ski hall in Amnéville (France), the season opening in the Tyrolean Zugspitzarena/Lermoos, the children's and youth ski camp in Reutte/Tyrol (from age 10), the New Year's tour to Valmorel, the ski safari in the Zillertal, the "Gelände ohne Ende" freeride camp in the Stubaital/Tyrol, and "Ski in – Ski out" in Les Portes du Soleil (France).
